An 18-year-old woman from Peoria was charged with the murder of her boyfriend during an altercation early Monday morning. TNashia S. Wash is charged with First Degree Murder for shooting and killing her boyfriend, 30-year-old Roderick Richardson, in the 1200 block of N. Ellis. Wash told Peoria Police Detectives that Richardson threatened to shoot her and himself during an argument regarding their relationship. The autopsy report said that Richardson was shot multiple times from a distance. He was shot twice to the front of the body and four times to the back of the body. Wash remains in custody at the Peoria County Jail and is scheduled for a detention hearing on Thursday. This investigation is ongoing.
