MACOMB, IL – The Macomb Arts Center (MAC) has announced that on Saturday, January 27th, the annual Battle of the Brushes painting competition will be returning to the MAC, but this time with a twist.
Adding a new wrinkle to the proceedings, this year the paintings will be created by partners. They will still have only 30 minutes to create their paintings and then the guests will decide their fate: who will go to the final round, and who will be the ultimate winning pair!
Throughout the evening, guests will also enjoy tasty food, a cash bar, music, fun and unique raffles, and silent and live auctions of the Battle art.
Doors will open at 6:30pm, with the first round of painting beginning at 7:00. Tickets are $25 if purchased in advance at macombartscenter.org/events by 10pm on Thursday, January 25th. Tickets at the door will be $30. One free drink will be included for MAC members.
