On 1/20/2024 at 4:32 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of N 4250th RD & E 4th RD. (Mendota TWP) Isaac Delao (26) of Mendota was driving north on E 4th RD, negotiating the curve when his vehicle lost control on the snow-covered roadway. His vehicle entered the north ditch, struck an intersection sign and overturned. Isaac was cited for driving to fast for conditions, improper lane usage, failure to give information after striking other property, failure to report accident to police authority and leaving the scene of accident vehicle/property damage. He was later released with a NTA.
