Quad City Storm Defeat Evansville

The Quad City Storm celebrated a thrilling 4-3 victory over the Evansville Thunderbolts, cheered on by a record 6,918 fans. This takes the Storm up to sixth place in the Southern Professional Hockey League. Their second annual ‘Education Day’ drew in over 5,500 students from around the Quad City Area and nearly 1,500 additional fans, surpassing their previous single-game audience of 6,508. The Storm is set to return to the ice on Friday and Saturday. Saturday’s game, the final dollar beer night of the season, is already expected to sell out.
