    Very cold wind chills as low as 20 to 30 below.

    Portions of north central and northwest Illinois and east central and southeast Iowa.

    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in 30 minutes or less. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside.

The month of February is Heart Health Month and OSF Saint Luke Medical Center is spreading the word regarding heart health. Samantha Rux with OSF joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to talk about the best ways to stay heart healthy.
