MACOMB, IL – In the latest MaxPreps Illinois Division Class 2A boys basketball poll, it was revealed that the Macomb Bomber boys basketball squad is currently ranked at #22 for 2A basketball in Illinois.
The Bombers came have had a huge week with an upset win against then-#24 Rock Falls on Saturday and last night’s 54-22 win over Illinois Valley Central (IVC) at home, improving to 21-5.
They’ve got 3 games left in the regular schedule starting with a home game against Camp Point Central on Friday evening. The Panthers are 20-6, coming off of a 54-43 win over Illini West last night. The last meeting between Macomb and Camp Point Central came out with a 32-27 Bomber win back on December 30th.
