SHARE NOW

The Mayor of Kewanee Gary Moore was our guest on Tuesday morning on WKEI to wrap up Monday’s Kewanee City Council Meeting. In our conversation, the Mayor addressed changes to Liquor Licensing Fees as well as addressing gambling machines in the City of Kewanee. The City has capped the number of actual machines for gambling in the City of Kewanee. Only 12 more machines, 6 per remaining available liquor license, are available to those getting into business. The Mayor also discussed new body cam and dashcam cameras for the Kewanee Police. Specifically, these new cameras will upload to a Cloud System as back up to assure that footage is able to captured and kept safely.
