The March Friends of the Hennepin Canal hike is on March 17, 2024, at 1:30 PM, and you do not need to be a member of Friends of the Hennepin Canal to join the hikes. “The Mink” hike is from Lock 22 to Bridge 23 and is 5.7 miles. Take Illinois Route 6 or Interstate 80 to Annawan and go north on Highway 78 to the canal. The parking area is located on the south side of the canal and on the west side of Highway 78. Friends of the Hennepin Canal invite you to join their hikes, and they ask that you dress weather appropriately.
