On Saturday, March 16th, at approximately 7am, Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle crash on Dixon Avenue, west of Stacie Lane. The operator, 46-year-old Shawn Keane from Dixon, was traveling eastbound when he lost control at a high speed, leaving the road and partially hitting a utility pole. Keane was pronounced dead at the scene.
