    Very cold wind chills as low as 20 to 30 below.

    Portions of north central and northwest Illinois and east central and southeast Iowa.

    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in 30 minutes or less. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside.

Bomber Sports Roundup – April 10, 2024

MACOMB, IL – Bomber baseball returns to the mound on Thursday for a matchup with Camp Point Central. They’re coming off of a big 19-13 home win against West Prairie on Monday, where they posted their highest run total of the season to take the game. Thursday’s game pitches off at 4:30 in Camp Point.

Bomber softball has the makings of a nice little streak going on right now after taking down Camp Point Central last night with a 6-5 win, their second win in as many days after also beating Bushnell-Prairie City 24-1 on Monday. They’ve got a couple days to rest, taking to the field again on Friday for a home game against Canton starting at 4:30.

Bomber Soccer is back in action this afternoon, hosting Quincy-Notre Dame for a conference game starting at 4:30.

Bomber Track is back on Thursday when both squads hit the road to Havana for the John Levingston Relays.
