Schuyler Co Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports the following activity in Schuyler Co for the week of April 15th to April 22nd:
April 15
- A juvenile of Browning was cited for Speeding 80mph in a 55mph zone
- John Hunter of Browning was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala and struck a deer on RT 100 near Hierman St
- James Malcomson of Rushville was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse and struck a deer on Camden Rd near Ayers Slough Rd
April 16
- Rosemary Montes of Beardstown was cited for Speeding 72mph in a 55mph zone
April 17
- Armando Martinez of Beardstown was cited for Speeding 89mph in a 55mph zone
- Joshua Diggs of Morton was cited for 71mph in a 55mph zone
- Haylee Mustread of Rushville was cited for Speeding 70mph in a 55mph zone & Operating an Uninsured Vehicle
- Kate Dawson of South Jacksonville was cited for DUI, Operating an Uninsured Vehicle, Improper Lane Usage, Improper U Turn & Reckless Driving.
April 18
- Nyein Chan Aung of Rushville was cited for Speeding 71mph in a 55mph zone
April 19
- Eduardo Herrera of Beardstown was driving a 2018 Nissan Utility. Herrera was travelling south on Bader Rd and struck a dog in the roadway causing damage to his vehicle
- A report of a theft of firearms from a hunting cabin outside of Brooklyn. The cabin was forcibly entered. This is under investigation.
April 20
- Abby Ingles of Rushville was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. Ingles was travelling southbound on RT 67, swerved to miss an animal in the roadway and struck the ditch
- A juvenile of Rushville was driving a 2014 GMC Terrain and was travelling eastbound on Camden Rd, another juvenile of Rushville was driving a 2002 Ford F150 was travelling eastbound on Camden Rd behind the Terrain. The Terrain braked to avoid an animal in the roadway, near Ayers Slough Rd and the F150 rear-ended the Terrain, no injuries were reported
- Matthew Putrich of Lake St. Louis, MO was cited for Speeding 74mph in a 55mph zone
- Carmala Zubia of Chapin was cited for Speeding 78mph in a 55mph zone
April 21
- Yogeswara Kumar Bodavula of Macomb was driving a 2010 Honda Accord. Bodavula was travelling northbound on RT 67, swerved to miss a deer and struck the ditch
- A juvenile of Rushville was cited for Speeding 80mph in a 55mph zone
- Kenneith Boone of Hazlewburst, MS was cited for Speeding 75mph in a 55mph zone
- Jocelyn Dalen of Winchester was cited for Speeding 80mph in a 55mph zone
- Aiden Klass of Yorkville was driving a 2008 Honda CR-V and struck a deer RT 67 near Wilson St
