The Friends of Moline Parks and Recreation Foundation is kicking off their efforts to support local community programs with a special Launch Party. This event is scheduled for May 9, 2024, at Pour Bros. Craft Taproom from 4:00 to 9:00 PM. Attendees can look forward to a silent auction and a thrilling trivia event, adding some competitive fun to the evening. A significant highlight is that 10% of the day’s sales will directly benefit Moline’s parks and recreational programs, ensuring ongoing community enhancement. Established in 2023, the Friends of Moline Parks and Recreation Foundation was created to support the City of Moline Parks and Recreation Department and their mission to enhance community wellness and quality of life by providing diverse recreational experiences, exceptional park programs, and well-maintained facilities. The Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, led by a 100% volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of Moline residents.
