Black Hawk College has announced the appointment of Dr. James Siegel as its new Vice President for Student Services. With over 20 years of experience in higher education, Siegel will oversee critical student services areas including engagement, recruitment, counseling, and financial aid. He is credited with boosting student enrollment and creating innovative programs that enhance student achievement, retention, and equity at his previous positions. Siegel, replacing his role at Whatcom Community College, will join Black Hawk College on July 1, 2024, as confirmed by college President Jeremy Thomas. The college community looks forward to Siegel’s contributions toward continual student success.
