The Public Works Department will be working on East College between Dwight Street and Andrews Avenue on April 30th, for the installation of a new water main extension beginning at 8 AM. This project will address a leak and comply with Illinois EPA regulations for water main installation and repair. There will be a temporary interruption of water service beginning 8 AM on May 1st for approximately four hours. Residents affected by the water shutoff will be contacted by city staff. After water service is restored, the affected residents will be under a boil order.
