Moline Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire on 43rd Avenue

In the early hours of May 7th, residents of a small home in Moline were forced to evacuate due to smoke following a thunderstorm. Moline Fire Department swiftly responded to the scene at 744 43rd Avenue, locating and extinguishing a fire in the attic within minutes of their arrival. Although the home suffered damage, all occupants, including two adults and three children, were safely evacuated and did not require further assistance. The cause of the fire is now under thorough investigation by the Moline Fire Department Bureau of Investigations.
