MACOMB, IL – The Macomb Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #189 have announced the return of the 45th Annual Scott Jennings Fishing Contest on Saturday, May 25th.
The children’s fishing contest, held at Spring Lake, will feature prizes for all children who sign up with awards for the top ten in each age group for the highest weight caught. A special prize will go to the child with the largest single fish, as well as the Scott Jennings Sportsmanship Trophy and plaque
This is a free event, with food and soda also provided free of charge.
Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. Fishing will be from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m, and prizes will be given out immediately after the fishing has concluded.
