The City of Galva announces a dedicated clean-up week from June 17 through June 22, exclusively for its residents. During this period, locals are encouraged to dispose of unwanted items at the designated maintenance yard, located adjacent to Preferred Home Health Care and Mary’s Family Dining and Lounge. A roll-off container will be provided by Eagle Enterprises for easy drop-off. For those unable to transport their items, assistance is available by contacting City Hall at 932-2555, with services offered on specific dates and times throughout the week. Please note, certain items such as hazardous materials and shingles will not be accepted. For disposal of tires, electronics, and televisions, fees may apply.
