On 5/20/2024 at 12:33 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 34 & E 1950th RD. (Adams TWP) Lucas Morano (27) of Channahon, IL was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 mph zone and no valid registration.
On 5/20/2024 at 3:50 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a three vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of RT 6 & E 15th RD. (Ottawa TWP) Thomas Meyer (64) of Newark, IL was pulling out of a private drive onto RT 6 when a vehicle traveling west on RT 6 struck the back right corner of his vehicle. Thomas’s vehicle spun around and the trailer hitch struck the front bumper of a vehicle stopped on E 15th RD. Luke Winchester (28) of Ottawa was driving west on RT 6 when his vehicle struck Thomas’s vehicle pulling out of a private drive onto RT 6. Daniel Barajas (40) of Ottawa was stopped on E 15th RD when Thomas’s vehicle spun around and the hitch struck the front bumper of his vehicle.
