The Kewanee School District honored retiring staff and teachers during an event on Wednesday. The ceremony, which took place at the School District Institute, saw the celebration of several esteemed educators and staff. Among those recognized were Jenny Grebner and Laura Nolan, respected teachers from Kewanee High School and Central School, respectively. Dr. Chris Sullens, the outgoing District Superintendent, was also celebrated and is set to retire on June 30, 2024. The event highlighted the significant contributions of these individuals to the educational community in Kewanee, marking their retirement with gratitude and applause.
