The Lee County Sheriff’s Department has been informed of another robo call that is going around, and they are identifying themselves as the Lee County Courts. They are asking for people’s social security numbers and they will threaten that if you don’t provide the requested information, you will be going to jail.
This is to remind everyone that the Lee County Circuit Clerk’s Office does not reach out to anyone by phone requesting social security numbers.
