River Bandits Double Up South Bend in Home Victory

In a thrilling display at Modern Woodmen Park, the Quad Cities River Bandits triumphed over the South Bend Cubs 10-5. Brett Squires starred with a four-hit performance, driving in three runs and slamming a crucial two-run homer in the first inning, setting the pace for the game. Kale Emshoff also made his mark with a homer that tied a franchise record. Meanwhile, Quad Cities’ pitcher Hunter Owen dominated on the mound, delivering a quality start and securing his fifth win of the season. The Bandits prepare to continue their series with South Bend, with Ben Kudrna scheduled to pitch in game two.
