On 05/21/24 at 4:25 AM LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident in the area of 476 IL RT 351, Oglesby IL (LaSalle TWP). Lelany Rodriguez (20) of Oglesby, was traveling east bound on IL RT 351 approximately .2 miles east of E 450TH RD. The vehicle drifted into the west bound lane and made contact with the guardrail face in the area before coming to a stop. Upon arrival to the scene LaSalle County Deputies found the vehicle to be unoccupied. Lelany left the scene after sustaining minor injuries, seeking her own medical attention at Peru Hospital, as well as her passenger. Natassja Orsborne (21) of Peru, IL for minor injuries. Two other passengers in the vehicle were identified as a (17-year-old) Juvenile of LaSalle, IL and Sebastian Aguilera (20) LaSalle, IL. Neither passenger was injured. Lelany later admitted being the driver of the vehicle and cited for the following, Failure to remain at the scene of a vehicle damage accident, Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, operating uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to report accident to police authority. Lelany was issued a NTA for the citations.
On 05/28/2024 at 7:09 PM, LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Bucklin Ave and 4TH St, LaSalle, IL (LaSalle TWP). Felicia Skalnik (30) of LaSalle, was arrested for driving while license suspended and later released with a NTA. The passenger of the vehicle was identified as Joshua Trahan (42), NO FIXED ADDRESS, IL. Joshua was arrested for violation of pretrial release and taken to the LaSalle County Jail.
On 05/28/2024 at 3:57 AM, LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Bluff St. and Rutland St., Marseilles, IL (Manlius TWP). Jose Lumbreros (49) of Aurora, IL was arrested for a LaSalle County FTA DWLS no bond warrant and driving while license suspended. He was additionally cited for operating uninsured motor vehicle and taken to the LaSalle County Jail.
