Congratulations to Officer Kendra Rogers for being named the Officer of the Month for May 2024 by the Galesburg Police Department. On May 8th, Officer Rogers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle based on information from a Crime Stoppers Tip. The stop resulted in the seizure of approximately 300 grams of methamphetamine and over $2,000 cash. The driver of the vehicle was subsequently charged with Possession of Methamphetamine 100-400 grams and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver 100-400 grams, along with other charges. “Officer Rogers’ dedication and service to the community removed a large amount of dangerous drugs from the streets.”
