LaSalle County Sheriff Report 7/11/2024

On 7/7/2024 at 6:37 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident with minor injuries at the intersection of E 2225^thRD & N 44^th RD. (Adams TWP) Dillon Hampton (31) of Sheridan was driving north on E 2225^th RD when he disobeyed the stop sign at the T-intersection. His vehicle entered the north ditch and came to a stop in the corn field. He was cited for failure to reduce speed/accident, failure to remain on scene, uninsured motor vehicle and DWLS.

On 7/10/2024 at 2:20 am LaSalle County Deputies responded to the area of N 25^th RD & E 309^th RD for a vehicle stuck in the ditch. Kelly Irvin (52) of Peru was cited for improper lane usage and no valid registration.

On 7/10/2024 at 8:12 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 251 & N 16^th RD. (Hope TWP) Payton Nighswonger (22) of Streator was cited for expired registration.

On 7/10/2024 at 8:15 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 71 & E 23^rd RD. (Rutland TWP) Kenneth Thomas (58) of Montgomery, IL was cited for speeding 71 mph in a 55 mph zone.

On 7/10/2024 at 8:33 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of N 2101^st RD & E 675^th RD. (Eden TWP) Kayla Samolinski (35) of Tonica was cited for speeding 75 mph in a 55 mph zone.

On 7/10/2024 at 9:01 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 251 & N 25^th RD. (LaSalle TWP) Juana Escobedo Rangel (34) of Peru was cited for speeding 71 mph in a 55 mph zone.
