The July “Hike the Hennepin” hike is on July 21, 2024, at 1:30 PM, at lock 23. You do not need to be a member of Friends of the Hennepin Canal to join the hike. The July Hike is called “Leopard Frog” and covers 4.1 miles from Bridge 33 to Bridge 28 in Atkinson.
Participants are asked to meet at Lock 23 at 1:30 PM, follow the hike leader to Bridge 28, leave their vehicles, and be shuttled to Bridge 33 to begin the hike. There is no fee to join the hike, but they ask that you dress appropriately for the weather.
