The First Christian Church has partnered with Kewanee Roary and The Salvation Army to hand out free school supplies on July 27, 2024, from 12 to 2 PM. Kewanee Rotary is offering a free swim at Northeast Pool at the same time. You can get a backpack with school supplies, and swim for free, to get ready for back to school. There will also be a clothing giveaway at Northeast Park during the school supply giveaway.
There will be a free meal for anyone in need sponsored by the Next Generation at FCC from 5:30 to 7 PM, at First Christian Church. From 3 to 5 PM, free meal delivery for those who are physically unable to get to the church. If you need a meal delivered, text 309-883-2848, no later than 1:30 PM, on July 27th, to be placed on the delivery list.
“Please come on out and take advantage of these amazing gifts. After a hard week of clean up and etc take some rest and come on out and enjoy what the Rotary, Salvation Army, FCC, and Next Generation have put together.”
