On 7/22/2024 at 4:29 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of E 15th RD & N 31st RD. (Wallace TWP) Leo Volker (20) of Ottawa was driving west on N 31stRD when he failed to yield the right away at the intersection and struck a vehicle traveling north on E 15th RD. Rebecca White (50) of Ottawa was driving north on E 15th RD when Leo’s vehicle struck the front right corner of her vehicle. Leo was cited for failure to yield at stop/yield intersection.
On 7/22/2024 at 11:30 pm LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs coyote accident with no injuries in the area of N 15th RD & E 9th RD. (Richland TWP) Katelynn Missel (21) of Lostant was driving west on N 15th RD when a coyote entered the roadway. She was unable to avoid the coyote and struck it with the front right corner of her vehicle.
