The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic safety campaign throughout the month of July reminding motorists to slow down to save lives. The speed enforcement effort was conducted by LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office and other state and local law enforcement agencies across Illinois to reduce highway fatalities.
During the campaign, LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office issued:

[6] expired registration citations
[2] no valid registration citations
(5) suspended registration citations
[4] obstructed (tinted) front windshield citations
[1] operate vehicle without cover citation
[1] warrant arrest
[12] uninsured motorists
[2] disobeyed stop sign citations
[1] no valid driver’s license citation
(1) expired driver’s license citation
The speed enforcement effort was made possible by federal traffic safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
