In a partnership between Wethersfield School District and RegionalMediaNews.com, the Wethersfield School District has announced the Teens of the Month, as selected by the school. Congratulations go out to Leah Franklin and Deke Neirynck.
Leah Franklin is a Wethersfield High School senior and a dual credit student through Black Hawk College. Leah participates in extracurricular activities and has a job. She also runs a non-profit with fellow students through the First Christian Church called “Next Generation for Christ.” She is an amazingly strong young woman.
Deke Neirynck is a Wethersfield High School senior and a dual credit student through Black Hawk College. Deke is a hard worker and has proven to be an excellent and responsible employee, so the high school hired him. He is both smart and kind.
