July Shooting Suspect Arrested

In Sterling, a shooting incident on July 23rd, that left two young males injured has led to a significant breakthrough in the investigation. After a detailed inquiry involving witness statements, surveillance footage, and cellular data analysis, authorities have charged a 17-year-old suspect with attempted first-degree murder and other serious offenses.

The shooting, which occurred at the intersection of 13th Avenue and East 5th Street, also caused the victims’ vehicle to crash into a pole. The 14-year-old victim has been treated and released while the 17-year-old continues to receive medical care. The accused is currently held in juvenile detention awaiting further legal proceedings.
