A call to emergency services regarding someone shot at the Toulon Tap in Toulon over the weekend spread faster than a wildfire. The initial report was of a subject possibly shot in the head. The Stark County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call and began investigating the report. After gathering information, it was determined that a subject was hit in the head with a pair of brass knuckles. Further investigation determined there was no gunshot, no one was injured by a gunshot, and no one died from the incident. The release did not indicate any arrests or charges stemmed from the incident.
