The Stark County Junior-Senior High School announced Mr. Tom Blumer as the “Acting” Principal during Ms. McGann’s maturity leave. Mr. Tom Blumer has 40 years of experience in public education, teaching grades 3rd to 8th before moving into administration. Mr. Blumer spent 30 years in the Peoria Public School District after working in Chicago and Houston public schools. He was a principal at Calvin Coolidge Middle School, Woodruff Career and Technical High School, and Lincoln K-8, where he retired this past spring. “Mr. Blumer brings a passion for education and endless knowledge. He believes in supporting all teachers to best impact the growth of every student.”
