North Central Behavioral Health Systems to Provide Behavioral Health Care in LaSalle

SHARE NOW

North Central Behavioral Health Systems is revitalizing the historic Hygienic Institute Building in North Central Illinois. This facility will offer a variety of behavioral health services, including crisis management and intensive outpatient care. The organization aims to provide accessible, specialized care and support for local communities on an ongoing basis.

The Hygienic Institute will also offer individual therapy, group therapy, case management, psychiatry, and medication management. “The goal is to provide a comprehensive wrap around approach to assist those seeking help.”

As part of the “innovative service model continuum,” a Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program for adults will be available. The program will be offered 5 days a week for adults who need a higher level of treatment. The program will utilize group therapy and a psychiatry approach while allowing individuals to return home each day. The program will be individualized based on need.

“Providing treatment in a group setting allows individuals to have a safe place to share their stories, explore and validate feelings, learn strategies to cope with life’s circumstances, and affirm and support each other while building hope and recognizing their strengths on their journey of recovery.”

NCBHS is planning a community Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in November where they look forward to sharing their latest achievements.
