On 10/21/2024 at 5:35 am LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle car Vs deer accident with no injuries in the area of N 18thRD & E 14th RD. (Bruce TWP) Christopher Suarez (38) of Peru was driving east on N 18th RD when a deer entered the roadway. He was unable to avoid the deer and struck it on the right passenger door.
On 10/22/2024 at 3:37 am LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 40th RD. (Serena TWP) Spencer Clark (19) of Leland was cited for speeding 79 mph in a 55 mph zone.
On 10/22/2024 at 3:02 pm LaSalle County Deputies responded to 2618 E 499thRD. (LaSalle TWP) for a violation of order of protection complaint. Subsequently Machelle Wall (28) of Oglesby was arrested for violation of an order of protection, unlawful use of a weapon and 3 counts of violation of pretrial release. She was transported to LASCO jail.
On 10/22/2024 at 9:03 pm LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of RT 23 & N 2250th RD. (Farm Ridge TWP) Rahat Amin (47) of Chicago, IL was cited for speeding 79 mph in a 55 mph zone.
