On Tuesday, October 15th at approximately 5:15pm, the Morrison Police Department was dispatched to Morris and Cherry Street to investigate a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood. Morrison Police ultimately arrested Jason M. Jonhson, 34, of Davenport, IA, for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer, and a Scotty County, IA, warrant for failure to appear.
Morrison Police also arrested Desiree G. Anderson, 33, also of Davenport, IA, on a Whiteside County warrant for Violation of Probation and failure to appear in court for Possession of Methamphetamine. A Morrison Police Officer received minor injuries, effecting the arrest.
Morrison Police were assisted by The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, Morrison Ambulance, and Downtown Auto Clinic Tow Service. The Morrison Police Department transported Johnson and Anderson to the Whiteside County Jail.
