Memorial Medical Clinic Mobile

SHARE NOW

Memorial Medical Clinics have launched a pioneering initiative, the Memorial Medical Clinic Mobile, dedicated to enhancing mental health services for students in Hancock County schools. This mobile clinic, funded by the Memorial Hospital Foundation and a $15,000 grant from the Tracy Family Foundation, targets children aged 4-18, offering support for issues like anxiety, depression, and ADHD directly on school campuses.

Chaka Batley, the Director of Behavioral Health Services, emphasized its role in creating a healthier community by improving accessibility to mental health services. The clinic operates without needing referrals, and financial aid is available to ensure all families can access the necessary care. Moreover, the initiative will support the community with health screenings and educational events during the summer.

Contributions to support this vital service can be made to the Strengthening Minds, Building Futures campaign. For more details on how to donate or get involved, contact Greta Wetzel at Memorial Hospital Foundation.
