As Veterans Day draws near, Illinois Joining Forces is stepping up to support those who served. Through the relaunched Operation Connect-A-Vet, the organization aims to bridge gaps between veterans and vital resources. With Illinois housing over half a million veterans, the initiative is critical.
The program, targeting the 700 homeless and those living in poverty, runs from November to December. It’s a focused effort to ensure veterans and their families can access the services they desperately need during the holiday season. Community support is pivotal, and Illinois Joining Forces is leading the charge to make a difference.
Submit a Connect-A-Vet Request: If you believe a veteran needs more support, submit a request by calling 1-833-INFO IJF (463-6453), emailing [email protected],or using the Connect-A-Vet form on www.illinoisjoiningforces.org.
