On 01/31/2025 at 1:34 AM, LaSalle County Deputies investigated a single vehicle accident in the area of Nova RD & Suzy ST (Northville TWP). Sandwich EMS responded for minor injuries. Callie Ferrario (18) of Sandwich was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and released at the scene.
On 02/01/2025 at 9:52 AM, LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of IL Rt-18 & E 6th RD (Richland TWP) Thomas Fortuna Jr (49) of Streator was cited for speeding 75 MPH in a 55 MPH zone and released at the scene.
02-01-2025 at 4:15 PM LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two-vehicle accident in the area of IL Rt-18 & E 15th RD (Eagle TWP). Lostant EMS and Streator EMS both responded to the scene, multiple injured parties were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ottawa and to OSF Center for Health in Streator. Jessica Lundberg (35) of Rockford was cited for Failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and was released from the scene with an NTA.
On 02-02/2025 at 1:17 AM LaSalle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of US Rt-6 & Harrison ST (Peru TWP). Alejandro Zavala was cited for driving while license is suspended, driver in possession of cannabis in motor vehicle outside approved container, and a written warning for having one headlight. He was released from the scene with an NTA.
