Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a welfare check. The subject appeared to be suffering a mental health crisis.
January 28
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 4 th Ave for a dog bite complaint. The animal owner suffered a minor bite injury from his own dog.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a trespassing complaint involving juveniles. The complaint was unfounded.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of NW 6 th Street to watch for a reckless driver that was reportedly traveling towards Galva on Bonham Road. Officer was not able to locate the suspect vehicle.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for an activated alarm. It was determined to be an alarm clock from a neighbor’s room.
January 29
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street for an unknown complaint. The subject appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer met with a resident at the Galva PD to update their annual sex offender registration. A completed copy was emailed to Henry Co for LEADS entry.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3 rd Street for a disturbance complaint. The suspect was transported by ambulance for evaluation / treatment.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of Burlington Road to assist a citizen.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Morgan Road for a 9-1-1 open line call. It was determined to be an accidental mis dial.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of Exchange Street, Kayla Snider, 34, Galva, was arrested on a Henry Co warrant for failing to appear on a charge of resisting a police officer. This was a no bond warrant. She was taken to the Henry Co Jail.

January 30
As the result of a traffic stop in the 00 block of SW 6 th Ave, Wyatt Stader, 21, Buda, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NW 5 th Street in reference to a complaint involving an unknown subject having an inappropriate online conversation with a minor.
January 31
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to try to assist a subject having a mental health crisis.
Officer assisted the ambulance with a medical emergency in the 00 block of NE 8 th Ave.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street for a disturbance complaint.
February 1
Officer was dispatched to assist Henry Co with locating a subject walking along the railroad tracks east of town. The subject was located and instructed to stay off railroad property.
Officer spoke to a subject from Sentry Estates in reference to questions about an order of protection.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of NE 6 th Ave to assist a subject that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
February 2
Officer was dispatched to the west edge of town to watch for a reckless driver on Route 34. Suspect vehicle was not located.
