Today, Monday, April 21st the Dixon Police Department will be conducting a training event at Jefferson Elementary School, 800 4th Avenue, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
This training event is a multi- agency exercise that will include several other local first responders and agencies. Training signs will be posted in the area and we are asking the public to stay away from the school while the training is conducted. Normal traffic flow will remain open on 4 th Avenue and the surrounding streets. We will do our best to notify all local residents and we thank you for your cooperation.
