May 19
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Morgan Road for a verbal domestic disturbance involving a parent and child.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 2 nd Street for a child custody dispute.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 5 th Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. It was determined to be a mis dial.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 900 block of SW 2 nd Street, John Granados, 44, Carbon Cliff, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a required court date.
While patrolling, officer located several tree branches in the roadway in the 300 block of SW 3 rd Street. The branches were removed.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of NW 7 th Ave to remove an unwanted subject after a disturbance.
May 20
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 6 th Ave for a crash involving a vehicle that drove onto private property and struck 2 parked cars. Henry Co handled the crash and issued several citations.
Officer was requested to stand by with IL DCFS employees in the 1000 block of NW 7 th Ave.
Officer, along with Stark Co Medic, were dispatched to a dog bite incident with two injured subjects in the 400 block of NW 4 th Street. One of the injuries was severe. Both subjects were transported for treatment.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of NW 7 th Ave to recover illegal contraband that was located.

May 21
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of Wallace Street for a low speed vehicle inspection.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on SW 4 th Ave for a welfare check. The subject was fine.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Front Street for a civil stand by.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of NW 7 th Ave to remove an unwanted subject.
May 22
Officer spoke to a resident by telephone about a civil matter.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 900 block of SE 2 nd Street, Raul Mangaun, 18, Rock Island, was arrested for no valid drivers license (Never had one) and operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on SW 4 th Street to check the welfare of two small children. They were fine. While patrolling, officer noticed that the crossing arms were activated and down with no trains present at all Galva railroad crossings. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4 th Ave for a loose dog complaint. The dog was impounded and later returned to it’s owner.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of North Center Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a pocket dial.
May 23
While patrolling, officer located a tree branch blocking the road in the 200 block of NW 2 nd Street. It was removed.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SW 2 nd Street for a disabled vehicle that was blocking the fuel pumps. Officer helped to push it out of the way.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 500 block of West Division Street, Nannette Hucke, 54, Oquawka, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SE 2 nd Street for a child custody exchange. As the result of a traffic stop in the 700 block of West Division Street, Kaela Jackson, 30, Galesburg, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of West Division Street to assist a motorist with a flat tire.
Officer was dispatched to Wiley Park for a complaint of graffiti written on the bandshell. It was able to be washed off with no damage.
Officer was notified that the crossing arms were malfunctioning at the Exchange Street and Chester Street railroad crossings. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
May 24
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of NW 7 th Ave for a civil standby to retrieve property.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 2 nd Ave to retrieve a debit card that had been found. It was returned to it’s owner.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 4 th Street to assist a citizen that appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 5 th Street for a possible stalking complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 4 th Ave for a loud noise complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 2 nd Street for a reckless driving complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 6 th Street for a complaint of juveniles driving recklessly and spinning tires.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of NW 1 st Ave for a loose dog complaint. The owner called a short while later and the dog was returned.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4 th Street for a verbal disturbance. This case is pending.

May 25
Officer was dispatched to the Exchange Street railroad crossing for a crossing arm malfunction. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer spoke to a subject by telephone about a possible violation of an order of protection. It was determined the complainant doesn’t live in Galva. Officer suggested a report needs to be made in their jurisdiction.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of SE 1 st Ave for an illegal burning complaint. As the result, Jacob McDonald, 39, Galva, was issued an administrative warning ticket (AWT) for burning on a non- burn day. The fire was put out.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SE 3 rd Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. IT was determined to be a verbal domestic dispute between father and son.
