Officer was dispatched to a rural address on South County Road to assist Henry Co with a physical domestic disturbance.
Officer spoke to a resident in the 100 block of SE 2 nd Ave in reference to a city ordinance violation regarding furniture left in a yard.
Officer spoke to a resident in the 800 block of NE 3 rd Ave in reference to a city ordinance violation regarding a disabled and abandoned vehicle parked in the yard.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of NW 5 th Street for an ongoing reckless driving complaint involving speeders in the area.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of SE 2 nd Ave for a complaint involving juveniles knocking on doors and running away.
June 3
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 2 nd Ave for a 9-1-1 hang-up complaint. Officer was not able to locate anyone needing assistance.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 4 th Street for a child custody exchange.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of South Center Ave for a 9-1-1 hang-up complaint. It was determined to be a mis dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of NE 2 nd Street to assist a citizen who was having phone issues.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 3 rd Ave to check an open door at the residence. Nobody was around. The door was secured.
Officer assisted Henry Co with a vehicle pursuit that was a couple miles north of town. The offender was arrested by Henry Co a short time later.
Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of NW 1 st Street after a report of a tree limb falling on several utility wires.
June 4
As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of NW 4 th Ave, Samuel Busick, 29, Towanda, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 1 st Street for a neighbor dispute.
Officer, along with Stark Co Medic, were dispatched to a residence on NE 4 th Ave for a suicidal subject. The subject was located and transported for evaluation / treatment.
Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of SE 2 nd Street for a 9-1-1 open line complaint. Officer couldn’t locate anyone needing assistance.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 1000 block of SE 2 nd Street, Nicholas Dillworth, 33, Robinson, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was notified about a vehicle repossession taking place in the 300 block of SW 6 th Ave.
June 5
Officer assisted the black hawk area task force with a search warrant on a residence on West Division Street.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 1 st Street for an ongoing neighbor dispute.
While patrolling, officer located two shopping carts along the roadway in the 300 block of SW 4 th Street that belonged to a local business. Officer walked the carts back to the business and returned them.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 1 st Street for a loose and aggressive pitbull. Officer spoke to the owner, who advised their child let the dog out. They were warned about the Illinois leash laws.
Officer was dispatched to Route 34 just east of town for a disabled vehicle. The vehicle was able to be moved off the roadway.
Officer, along with Stark Co Medic, were dispatched to a residence on West Division Street for a suicidal subject threatening suicide. They were transported for evaluation / treatment.
June 6
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Commercial Street for a complaint of a male subject screaming. The subject was located and appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer went to the Learning Connections Daycare Center and participated in their touch-a-truck program with local emergency vehicles.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NE 1 st Street for an illegal burning complaint. The resident put the fire out after being educated on the city ordinance about burning regulations.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of SE 2 nd Street for an activated panic alarm. It was determined to be a false alarm.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NE 4 th Street to assist a citizen. The subject appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 7 th Ave for an illegal fireworks complaint. Officer was not able to locate.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NE 3 rd Street for a loud noise complaint. Officer did not locate anyone.
June 7
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of SE 2 nd Street for an activated panic alarm. It was a false alarm.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 4 th Ave for an activated fire alarm. It was determined to be an accidental activation.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of SE 4 th Ave for a vehicle parked in an alleyway. The vehicle was moved.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 800 block of SE 2 nd Street, Andrea Lodato, 32, Galva, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of South Exchange Street for a complaint involving young juveniles riding bicycles and not watching out for motoring traffic. Officer was not able to locate them.
Officer was dispatched two more times to the 00 block of NE 4 th Street to assist a citizen that was suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to a residence on NE 4 th Ave for a welfare check.
June 8
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of SE 2 nd Street for an activated panic alarm. It was a false alarm.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of SE 2 nd Street for an open door complaint. The door was secured.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of SW 4 th Ave for a complaint of an open door on a vehicle.
During the complaint, officer determined that one of the subjects had a warrant. As the result, Jamie Howard, 36, Galva, was arrested on a Knox Co warrant for failing to appear on several traffic charges. She was taken to the Henry Co Jail.
Officer was dispatched to Route 34 just west of town for a hitchhiker walking in the roadway.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 7 th Street for a complaint of a young juvenile that wandered onto the complainant’s property. A parent arrived within minutes looking for the child.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SW 5 th Street for a complaint involving juveniles harassing each other.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of SE 2 nd Street for a complaint involving juveniles harassing each other.
