On August 2nd, the Northeast Oasis Pool in Kewanee will be the site of a special community day organized by the Rotary Club of Kewanee, First Christian Church, Salvation Army, and Kewanee Park District. Residents can enjoy complimentary pool admission from noon to 6 PM. In addition, families can benefit from school backpack giveaways from 11 AM to 1 PM, helping students gear up for the fall semester. A clothing distribution will also be available from 11 AM to 1 PM, aimed at supporting local families who could use a boost in preparing for the new school year. Organizers hope the event provides both fun and meaningful assistance to community members.
