July 14
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of SE 2 nd Street for an activated panic alarm. It was determined to be a false alarm.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Exchange Street for a 9-1-1 open line complaint. It was an accidental mis dial.
Officer went to the 100 block of SE 3 rd Street for a city ordinance violation involving an unlicensed vehicle.
Officer was dispatched to the 500 block of SW 6 th Ave for a city ordinance violation involving a pile of gravel sitting in a vacant lot. The complaint was unfounded as it was determined to be legal.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of West Division Street for a disorderly conduct / threats complaint.

July 15
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of NW 4 th Ave for a complaint involving fraud / identity theft.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 7 th Street for a verbal domestic disturbance.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of NW 1 st Street for a low speed vehicle inspection.
Officer was dispatched to the 800 block of NE 2 nd Street for a violation of an order of protection complaint. The suspect was located north of town and arrested. As the result, Roy Orwig, 46, Kewanee, was arrested for violating an order of protection. He was taken to the Henry Co Jail.

July 16
While patrolling, officer noticed a crossing arm malfunction at the Exchange Street railroad crossing. BNSF was contacted for repairs.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of SW 2 nd Ave for a soliciting complaint. Several subjects were located and referred to City Hall for a permit.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of South Center Ave to assist a motorist with a flat tire.

July 17
Officer met with a subject at the Galva PD in reference to an impounded vehicle.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SE 4 th Ave for a 9-1-1 hang up call. It was determined to be a pocket dial.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Market Street for a 2 vehicle accident. There was no damage noted.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of North Center Ave for a loose dog complaint.
Officer warned a motorist about driving a UTV on a state highway.

July 18
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of SE 2 nd Street to deliver a message.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3 rd Street to check on a subject that was outside screaming. The subject appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis.
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of SW 1 st Ave for a traffic accident with damage only.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of SW 3 rd Ave for a property line dispute / trespassing complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of SW 2 nd Street for an illegal burning complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the area of SW 6 th Ave and SW 3 rd Street for a traffic complaint. Officer was not able to locate.
Officer went to the 00 block of SW 4 th Street to drop off a cell phone to it’s owner after it was turned in to police.
Officer was dispatched again to the 1000 block of SW 2 nd Street for an illegal burning complaint.
Officer was dispatched to the 00 block of NW 4 th Street for a fireworks complaint.

July 19
Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of SW 2 nd Street for a property damage complaint. As the result, Ashton Powers, 28, Galva, was arrested for criminal damage to property. He was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Exchange Street for a vehicle vs building accident. A crash report was completed.
Officer was dispatched to the NW quadrant of town in reference to an illegal fireworks complaint.
Officer was not able to locate the source.

July 20
Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Market Street to check on a suspicious vehicle at a business after hours.
Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of SW 1 st Ave for a 2 vehicle accident with damage only. A crash report was completed.
Officer was dispatched to the 900 block of West Division Street for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint. Officer determined it was a pocket dial.
As the result of a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Center Ave, Stephany Pugliano, 43, Toulon, was cited for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for mandatory insurance. She was released with a required court date.
Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Front Street for a welfare check.
Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of NW 7 th Ave for a report of a male subject who lost his pants while mowing. The subject was advised to consider purchasing a belt.
Officer was dispatched to Wiley Park for a 9-1-1 hang up complaint during the weekly concert. It was determined to be a pocket dial.
