Community spirit will shine at National Night Out 2025 on August 5th, from 4:30 to 7:30 PM at Northeast Park in Kewanee. Several organizations are ready to connect with visitors: the Kewanee Police and Fire Departments, YMCA, Relay for Life, Project Now, and Abilities Plus, among others. Attendees can enjoy live K9 demonstrations, classic cars at the Cruise-In, a PS5 raffle, and safety activities. Don’t miss the free community swim at Oasis Swimming Pool or breathtaking chainsaw carving displays. With emergency vehicle exhibits and family-friendly activities, this evening promises fun, learning, and community engagement for all ages. If you would like to be part of Kewanee’s National Night Out, contact Deputy Chief Michael Minx at [email protected].
A brand-new Sony PlayStation 5 could be yours, and supporting a great cause has never been easier. Tickets for the PS5 raffle are just $5 each and can only be purchased online, as this is a cashless event. The raffle closes at 7:30 PM on August 5th, right during National Night Out at Northeast Park. Don’t miss the chance to win a Sony PlayStation 5 in the raffle giveaway. Get your raffle tickets here.
