Local professionals are invited to attend “Words at Work,” a dynamic workshop hosted by the Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce’s Professional Women’s Network on Wednesday, September 24th. Dr. Jon Mandrell, Chief Academic Officer at Sauk Valley Community College, leads the 90-minute session spotlighting the impact of language in the workplace.
Participants will explore how deliberate word choices foster trust, boost morale, and drive organizational change. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sauk Valley Community College, with tickets priced at $25 for members and $45 for non-members. Registration deadline is September 17th.
