Western Illinois University and the City of Macomb will once again partner to host a Community Walk Through event Thursday, September 11th, from 11:50 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The purpose of the event is to welcome new and returning residents to the City of Macomb and to share information about resources available in the community. WIU students, faculty and staff will participate alongside City of Macomb personnel and other community partners.
The Community Walk Through reflects WIU’s ongoing commitment to civic engagement and to strengthening partnerships with the City of Macomb. Participants will visit neighborhoods, share information and provide resources to residents.
