Parents and prospective Scouts from kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to a Girl Scout registration night and information meeting at the Little Cabin, 401 West South Street, on Tuesday, September 16th, starting at 6 PM. The Little Log Cabin is located west of Menards. Girl Scout Service Unit 889 Director Jacque Komnick will guide parents through what a year in Girl Scouts entails, covering topics such as family involvement, meeting schedules, and registration details. While parents meet with Jacque, current Scouts will engage future members in hands-on activities and Scouting basics at rotating stations, giving children a preview of Girl Scout adventures.
