The Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology has introduced a new Office Hours program through its Office of Supplier Diversity. This initiative is designed to support IT vendors and small businesses by offering direct access to procurement experts. Participants can receive personalized guidance on navigating state procurement procedures, securing necessary certifications, and exploring contracting opportunities with the state. The program aims to foster greater inclusion and boost participation from diverse suppliers in technology contracts. Business owners interested in expanding their opportunities with the state are encouraged to take advantage of this new resource for valuable insight and support.

“We’re launching this Office Hours program to break down barriers and create more accessible pathways for vendors to engage with state procurement,” said DoIT Chief of Supplier Diversity Alice Rivera-Alfaro. “This new initiative provides a direct line of communication where vendors can get real-time answers and personalized guidance from our experts.”
