Last month 5th grade kicked things off with a book tasting, and today we took it a step further with Genre Journey rotations! From blackout poetry to fractured fairy tales, biographies, fantasy, and more — the kids connected reading to their own writing in such fun and meaningful ways.
It’s been so cool watching them dive deeper into genres and discover new favorites. And the best part? This journey isn’t over yet!
